Q4 2026 Giving Update

Q4 2026 Giving Update from Art Love Friend: 50% of profits after expenses support nonprofit causes. This season supports the San Francisco Mime Troupe. Watch WRECKAGE, streaming through November 1, pay what you can or free with code POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

Giving back has been part of Art Love Friend from the beginning. In 2021, thanks to your support here and on Etsy, Art Love Friend donated over $205 to E.A.R.T.H. Labs SF.

The shop has been rebuilt, and Art Love Friend's giving now follows the same model as Hoshi Hana, the artist behind it.

Our giving commitment

50% of profits after business expenses go to nonprofit organizations and community causes through rotating fundraising campaigns.

This renewed commitment begins with the fourth quarter of 2026 (October–December). The first contribution report will be posted after the January 15, 2027 distribution, with receipts. These quarterly reports are new, too: from now on, you'll be able to see exactly what was given each quarter, and to whom.

This season: the San Francisco Mime Troupe

The current campaign supports the San Francisco Mime Troupe. For more than six decades, they've created free, socially engaged theater that uses humor, music, and storytelling to bring people together. Hoshi Hana has supported them since 2025.

To kick things off, I made a $25 contribution as Hoshi Hana while watching the Mime Troupe's newest show, WRECKAGE – A Musical Tragicomedy.

Watch it too, through Sunday, November 1

WRECKAGE is streaming online now, pay what you can. If cost is a barrier, use the code POWER TO THE PEOPLE to watch for free through November 1.

It's well worth watching, especially in such a tumultuous time. True to the Mime Troupe's style, it brings both hope and humor.

Thank you for being here. Let's keep the good going.
